Steel – As rolled black round bar, steel grade S45Cr (1045). UT tested ASTM Sep 1921 Class D/d or better.
Chrome – High Strength S45C Steel, Cold Drawn to >520Mpa Yield Strength. Corrosion Resistance >120 Hours ISO9227, NSS Rating >9. Chrome Thickness >20um, Surface Finished <Ra0.2µm and Tolerance to ISOF7
Induction Hardened Chrome – Induction Hardened High Strength S45C Steel, Cold Drawn to >520Mpa yield strength. Corrosion resistance > 120 hours, ISO 9227, NSS Rating >9. Chrome Thickness >20um, Surface Finished <Ra 0.2µm and Tolerance to ISO F7. Hardness depth that is available 1 to 3 mm, with hardness rating HRC 53 plus or -2. Ratings of up to 62 HRC are available with other materials.
Stainless Steel Chrome – Stainless steel material grades of 303/304/316/2205 and H1150D there are also available in the above ground condition.
Hydraulic Tube – SSID electro welded steel cylinder tube. Steel grade E355 + C (ST52 as drawn) – EN 10305-2 – inside tolerance H9 – inside surface roughness Max 0.08µm – straightness 1mm/1000mm
Honed Tube – Cold drawn cylinder tube (DOM welded EN 10305-2 or seamless EN 10305-1) steel grade E355 – inside honed – inside surface roughness Max 0.30µm – straightness 1mm/1000mm
